Merry Christmas to the Fundy Gardeners

January 7/2015 starting at 7pm at St Lukes Church Hall, 12 Quispamsis Rd, Quispamsis. 

December- Christmas Party

Wednesday Dec 3rd at St Lukes Church Hall, 12 Quispamsis Rd in Quispamsis. Starting at 6:00 p.m.

If you can, help at 4pm would be appreciated to set-up. 

Please remember that it is a potluck with cooked meats provided. 

Bring a table decoration or a door prize too. 

Remember to bring a plate,cutlery and your fancy napkin.

New Meeting Location

  We have moved the location of the meetings

to

St Lukes Church Hall at 12 Quispamsis Rd, 
Just up from the ferry end of Gondola Point Rd; or take a left off Meenan's Cove Rd off the Gondola Point Arterial (rte 119), then right on Quispamsis Rd at the T-junction.

September Members Night

Show and Tell.  We would like as many members as possible to tell us what they do to prepare their garden for fall and winter and bring in an example.  This could be taking cuttings, dividing perennials, working on your compost, etc.  If you prefer to show off the product of your gardening season, you could bring in a special bloom or an arrangement, or a sample of some preserves or  other food.  Steve Nason will accept photos (up to 5) emailed to him or brought on a jump drive.  Members will sign up as they arrive so we can organize the presentations.  Members were asked to bring in items suitable for door prizes.

Note:  We at at  St. James the Less Church 760 Rothesay Rd, Rothesay, NB

This weekends Gardener Tour with be on Saturday August at Chas MacKay apple orchid Long Reach from 1:30 to 4 p.m.  From the Gondola Point ferry exit turn left until you reach the Williams Road and then you reach Route 845 and turn left about 3.8 km. At the end of the Williams road is a store/lunch counter Boswick's if you need a ice cream,snack or directions.  

Things to do on the peninsula so you can make at a day event.
